Educational Scavenger Hunt
ABAC is the place for the Expo Educational Scavenger Hunt! That’s right. This year the annual Educational Scavenger Hunt at the Sunbelt Agricultural Exposition on October 19-21 will be sponsored by Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. ABAC has been a great partner for the Expo for many years. In fact, the Expo actually started as a series of small equipment shows on the ABAC campus in Tifton.
The Expo Educational Scavenger Hunt questionnaire from ABAC includes 10 questions provided by Expo exhibitors. Your students must decide which exhibitor has the answer to each question and then visit that exhibitor to find out the answer. When the student has all 10 questions answered, the questionnaire should be placed in the collection box at the ABAC building which is located near the Expo main entrance.
At the end of the Expo, drawings will be held from completed questionnaires for Expo t-shirts, caps, ITunes gift cards and other prizes. A GRAND PRIZE of $500 will be presented to the school which has the most students submit completed questionnaires during the Expo.

Calling all state chapters of the Young Farmer Association...
Energetic young farmers are ready to put their culinary skills to the test in the annual Young Farmer Pork Cook-Off contest. The Cook Off is open to any state chapter and awards prize money reaching $1200 for first place. After all the cooking is done, join us for food, fun and entertainment at the Young Farmer Event, Wednesday, October 20th. Kirsten Underwood will perform courtesy of Georgia Farm Credit Associations and tons of door prizes are donated by Expo exhibitors to be given away throughout the night, including over $1000 in cash from Kelley Manufacturing Company. You don’t want to miss out on the great evening!
